The stand sits on the ground, with the side opening at the bottom and the cup placed on the top. You insert your choice of fuel through the side opening and ignite. For storing after use (when heater is cold) simply invert the stand and insert your canteen cup followed by your canteen. A set of safety instructions are provided.
