Invented as an aid to assist with accurate pace counting by the US Army Rangers, these Rothco Pace Counting Beads help you calculate distance travelled silently and efficiently. The design has been tested at Fort Benning and Fort Bragg in the USA and is the favoured pace counter with the elite US Rangers. Divided into 4:9 the 13 individual beads allow you to keep your pace of up to 5000 paces (around 5km average pace). Attach to your webbing, pocket or map case. Manufactured from tough olive-green nylon cord with black plastic beads. Length – 48cm. Colour – olive green/ black.
