Genuine British Forces issue Frontier1000 (RA5500/1020) In-The-Ear (ITE) single channel headset system designed for use with the widely used AN/PRC-343 Personal Role Radio (PRR). This battle tested communications system headset replaces the obsolete Clansman type elasticated headset and features a selectable Talk Through (TT) function allowing external sounds to be heard in the headset whilst PRR reception is heard in the left ear. The user's voice is also picked up from inside the right ear meaning a separate boom microphone (characteristic of earlier designs) is no longer necessary. The TT audio signal is heard in both ears. Each kit comes with a pair of Comply Canal Tip foam earpieces for a great fit and superior noise reduction. This Frontier1000 set includes:
