The BCB Explorer Striker Fire Flint is a recognised NATO-approved magnesium block fire starter. The fire lighting performance has been improved by incorporating the flint into a magnesium block. Simply scrape shavings off the magnesium block with the hacksaw blade starter, then ignite these by striking the blade down the flint which showers sprays onto the magnesium scrapings.
