AF Air Cadet (RAFAC) Regional Musician Gold badges introduced as an element of the Musician Awards in the New Progressive Training Syllabus. These air cadet proficiency badges are gained for national musical representation. There are currently four types available; bugle, drum, bandsman and pipes.Each embroidered cloth-backed badge features a RAF blue woven background cloth with gold embroidered elements. The badges are usually placed at the centre of the brassard below any leadership awards. Size - H4.8cm by W4cm (approx). Weight - 1 gram. Colours – gold thread on RAF dark blue background.
