The Altberg Men's Desert Microlite is now available with the all-new Defender Hi-Traction Sole unit, currently used on all Alt-berg MoD Specification boots. The Desert Microlite is designed to be extremely lightweight and breathable, yet hardwearing, and has seen operational use with British Forces in Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The boot features a quality MOD brown 2.0mm thick Perwanger suede upper - which is soft and supple yet water resistant. The Defender sole unit provides excellent up-hill traction and downhill breaking as well as being slip/oil resistant with anti-static properties. The Tri-flex midsole provides a combination of medium flex and torsional resistance making it an excellent boot for tabbing and for use on rough terrain. The Combat Airgrid footbed provides cushioning and is fast drying and very breathable providing all-day comfort. Sizing - UK foot size 6.5-13.5 (including half sizes).
