The Altberg Bergen in MOD Brown is a premium lightweight, cold, wet weather boot, with a waterproof and breathable Sympatex® liner and a heavy duty Vibram® shock absorbent sole unit. The Bergen design is based upon Alpine mountaineering designs and utilises a single piece leather upper which is more resistant to leaks and cold temperatures and provides excellent ankle and underfoot support particular in rough, mountainous terrain. Despite this the Altberg Bergen is still suitably comfortable and lightweight for use as a urban/patrol boot in both mixed terrains and weather conditions and has seen plenty of operational use around the world.
