Perfect for navigation exercises or in emergencies, the Rothco Military Coordinate Scale Protractor will accurately show your endpoint coordinates when using a scaled map. Incorporates triangular cut outs in scales of 1:25,000, 1:50,000, 1:100,000 and 1:250,000. Within the centre circle you are able to attach a piece of thread or thin comms cord to measure in mils or degrees accurately. The edge of the protractor shows three scales; the outer being marking in mils, the centre in degrees and the inner in black azimuths. This protractor can be used with the MGRS (military grade reference system), UTM (universal transverse mercator) and any other metric based coordinate system. Dimensions – 5 inches by 5 inches.
